How does it work?
We manage the complexities of raising business
finance through a carefully designed process. Our starting
point is that traditionally, the prospective borrower had
to grovel and was in no position to negotiate a better deal.
We believe that this needs to change, the sooner the better.
- We have created a web-based system that enables us
to present a professionally prepared loan application
to all participating banks simultaneously. The banks know
that and to defend their market share, they have little
option but to compete. This does not exactly endear us
to them but we believe that the time is right to punch
some holes into the cobwebs that prevail in this sector.
- We have entered into service level agreements with
major banks. The banks have undertaken to fast track applications
presented through us and notify us of their decision within
10 working days.
- We have entered into cooperation agreements with a
steadily growing number of franchisors who can rely on
Franchise Finance to facilitate the granting of loans
to their franchisees. We would like to add your brand
to this list.
- We allocate a loan originator to each brand. This individual
has an in-depth understanding of the particular business
sector’s funding needs. He or she can either be
placed at the offices of a major franchisor on a part-time
basis or operate from an office in close proximity to
a cluster of smaller franchisors.
- To ensure a smooth passage of loan applications through
the evaluation and approval process, Franchise Finance:
- Assist your franchisees with the preparation of the
loan application and the businessplan. We use templates
and processes which were approved by accredited franchisors
and the banks.
- Submit the loan proposal simultaneously to all participating
banks and track processing in real time.
- Analyse the loan proposals we receive from the banks
and advise franchisees on their relative merits then
let franchisees decide which bank they want to deal
with.
- Introduce franchisees to a relationship manager at
the bank of their choice and monitor progress until
the process is finalised.
- At the payout stage, the loan originator controls
the disbursement of funds in close cooperation with
the parties involved.
